REAXTION™ and RS-1™ styles are also available to meet the Proximity requirement of NFPA 1971 for use in environments where high radiant heat loads may be encountered, such as aircraft rescue and industrial applications. These garments utilize a reflective aluminized film for radiant heat resistance laminated to a knit PBI® blend for the outer shell.
