REAXTION™ and RS-1™ styles are also available to meet the Proximity requirement of NFPA 1971 for use in environments where high radiant heat loads may be encountered, such as aircraft rescue and industrial applications. These garments utilize a reflective aluminized film for radiant heat resistance laminated to a knit PBI® blend for the outer shell. Globe Cairns Proximity Gear is available with your choice of moisture barriers and thermal liners as well as a wide variety of custom options.
